Too busy to deal with 8mm, DVDs or VHS tapes? Who isn't, right? JVC is looking to erase the tragic memories of converting your home videos to a format that someone could use by introducing the newest member of the Everio camcorder family: the GZ-HM340.
Stocked with 16GB of internal Flash memory, a 20x optical Konica Minolta zoom lens, 1.37 megapixel CMOS sensor, image stabilization, one-touch upload to YouTube, face detection and an SD / SDHC expansion slot, this bad boy is set to land later in the month for a nickle under $500. Here's hoping it captures to

Android is one name every mobile manufacturer is seeking for resurrection after the Apple iPhone clean sweep in the smartphone market and here comes another addition from Samsung. An image rumored to be that of the Samsung Galaxy II has thronged the web and though there is no official confirmation, it does look like the Galaxy second edition with Android 2.1 on-board.
The image has surfaced with some technical details as per which the Galaxy II will come with a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor. Add to that the fact Samsung devices can tweak processors

Epson’s recently announced BrightLink 450Wi ultra-short throw projector is able to produce an image from 55 to 102-inches in size depending on how far it’s mounted from a wall, and whether it’s running WXGA or XGA resolutions. For example, at a distance of just 18 inches it’s able to project a respectable 60-inch diagonal image, but for compact spaces it can be mounted as close as 2.8 inches, though that will result in a considerably smaller image.
But that’s not the only trick it has up its sleeve. The BrightLink

I never actually owned one, but the Big Trak (or Bigtrak for our European readers) is one of those toys that makes me long for the 80’s and what I consider to be the glory days of toys. (Yep, I’ve reached that age when things were definitely better when I was a kid.) The 6-wheeled Big Trak featured a displayless keypad on the back that let you program up to 16 different commands like go forward x number of lengths, pause and turn left or right x number of degrees. By today’s standards its functionality is a bit limited, but I’d

An Android update is such an important thing for smartphones given the rage for Google OS based devices in the market and therefore the news of the HTC Hero getting an Android 2.0 update in March raises a few brows. All OS updates i.e 1.6, 2.0 and 2.1 will be delayed until March as per an unofficial source that is certain about the delay.
The delay is a consequence of HTC trying to tightly integrate the HTC Sense UI with the Android 2.0 and other versions of the software. The positive thing is that the HTC Hero might jump straight away from

Pull off another successful million-dollar pump and dump? Did Daddy's $60,000 monthly allowance check just clear? Vertu a little too bourgeois for you these days? If you answered "oui" to at least one of the above, Versace's upcoming bespoke handset might be just for you. Created in close partnership with matriarch Donatella Versace, it turns out that the company behind the project is the very same that brought both TAG Heuer's and Christian Dior's phones to market in the past -- France's ModeLabs -- but this new model is said to outstrip the Dior's sticker

Would you be interested in a BlackBerry Bold with a touchscreen? That doesn’t exist yet, but apparently RIM is toying with the idea. Some leaked pictures of a BlackBerry prototype have show off a Bold-esque device with…you guessed it, a touchscreen.
Word is that this design has been ditched for something better, though some of us would be happy with this one. So we have no idea when we can expect a touchscreen BlackBerry with a physical QWERTY keyboard, but it’s nice to know they are on it.
