Boxlight Releases ProjectoWrite2/W Projector

Boxlight has been developing and manufacturing award winning projectors since 1985. Today, the company has announced the latest model to be released, the ProjectoWrite2/W. This projector is designed to encompass all the feature of a standard whiteboard setup into one tiny device. The ProjectoWrite2/W feature 3000 ANSI lumens, a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and 500:1 contrast ratio. While the projector is not the most powerful device available, it is one of the few that includes dual light pens. The company has included two pens, one short and one long, so that users can control the objects and programs on the screen with out having to go to their laptop. All the writer has to do is point and click and the wand does all the tasks that your mouse does. The smaller pen also allows the user to write on the screen to highlight sections of the lesson or to draw their own. “Response to our ProjectoWrite2 has been phenomenal; it’s really a see-it to believe-it type product and once anyone gets their hands on the unit, they don’t let go. All my time in the projector industry, I’ve never seen such excitement from our dealers around a product. We’ve incorporated a camera and developed interactive I/R tools allowing full mouse control by simply interacting with the image from virtually any surface,” says Hank Nance, BOXLIGHT President. “The ProjectoWrite2/W costs about half as much as the traditional electronic whiteboards and is so easy to use that my 4 year old daughter is able to use it, and loves it.” The ProjectoWrite2/W is available now for the retail price of $2995.
