This week at the Taiwan Broadband Show, Ericsson is displaying some interesting prototypes of devices they expect to see in the year 2020. Among the devices are two computers are designed to be both portable and small. The first design looks like something from a sci-fi movie and features a bulbous head with an integrated pico projector. The body of the device has a laser projector that shines a laser keyboard for the user to use. The entire system is silver, which gives it that corny futuristic look. The second model looks more from a sci-fi horror movie and has the device balancing on a tripod that looks like spider legs. The legs can fold up into the device when traveling. The top of the device is where the pico projector projects from. While these are working prototypes of what Ericsson wants to see in the future, the company is also stating that they would like to see these products be able to hold an internal battery and have wireless internet access as well.
