Solid State Drive prices seems to have come down quite a bit over the last twelve months, although they are still quite expensive when compared to standard hard drives. Kingston has added a new budget SSD to its lineup with the launch of the Kingston 30GB SSDNow V+, and the best part about this new SSD is the price at just $80.
Although it only comes with 30Gb of storage, the Kingston 30GB SSDNow V+ is capabale of read speeds of up to 180MB/s and write speeds of up to 50MB/s. Power wise the Kingston 30GB SSDNow V+ uses between 1.4W and 1.7W and will last for up to 500,000 hours of use, which works out at about 57 years. via Liliputing
