NEC makes a wide array of data projectors. One of their newest models is the NP115. This model is the latest addition to the NP Portable series and features 2500 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and an SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. The NP115 makes an excellent addition for classrooms because it comes with a diverse connection panel and a 7W speaker, which prevents the need for external speakers. The connection panel includes a RGB, composite, s-video, and several audio ports as well. Another key feature is the 31 dB noise level, which is fairly quiet compared to similar models. To help reduce the cost of ownership, NEC has also equipped the projector with a 5000 hour lamp. The NP115 is available now through certified retailers.
