Garmin recently announced their free Custom Maps service which enables Garmin Oregon, Garmin Dakota and Garmin Colorado owners upload their digital maps onto their device, and heck - even paper maps are supported this time round. Philips offers a new way of analyzing your skin thanks to its Crystalize system which relies on a special video camera which is capable of capturing a close up of clients skin in order to compile an accurate assessment of the viewer's skin. Once complete, the system will draw up a list of products which would suit your skin condition best, and can be ordered from the cheapest to the most expensive. Philips plans to take the system global come next year.

Lenovo might be thinking of finding a middle ground between its ThinkPad and IdeaPad lines, hence the ThinkPad Edge. This model will come with a 13.3" display, where you can choose from either low-voltage dual-core AMD or Intel processors, garnering up to eight hours of battery life coupled with 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Rumor has it that the ThinkPad Edge will debut at CES 2010, where we'll be on site to see if that is true or not.
