Point and shoot cameras are what most people go after when they are looking for a new camera. The things are cheaper and smaller than DSLRs for the most part and often have higher zoom levels than cheaper DSLRs offer. Such is the case with the new Samsung HZ35W and HZ30W digital cameras unveiled today. Both cameras have very similar specs with 12MP sensors, 15x optical zoom, and 24mm wide-angle lenses. Both cameras also have dual image stabilization. The 35W has a 3-inch AMOLED screen and GPS for geotagging images. The 30W has a 3-inch TFT LCD and lacks GPS. Other than those features, the cameras are the same. Pricing and availability are unknown.
